Primary Students Embark on an Exciting Educational Journey to Nehru Planetarium

82 enthusiastic students from Classes IV and V embarked on an educational trip to the Nehru Planetarium on 12th May, 2026. The young learners thoroughly enjoyed exploring the fascinating wonders of the galaxy and planets. A major highlight of the trip was a captivating 2D show, which vividly brought space concepts to life and sparked immense curiosity among the students.

Exploring India’s Tribal Art Heritage at Canvas and Clicks

Students of Classes VI and VII, along with the school’s Art Facilitator, Ms. Ayushi Kapoor, visited Canvas and Clicks, an exhibition on the Tribal Art Heritage of India organised by The Sarva Sahodaya, at the Arpana Caur Art Gallery, Siri Fort, New Delhi, on 23 January. The students explored a rich display of tribal and folk art from across India, including large-scale works by eminent artist Ms. Arpana Caur, miniature paintings, and traditional art objects. They also engaged in sketching selected artworks, closely observing patterns, details, and painted elements. The visit proved to be an enriching and inspiring learning experience.

Hands-on Learning Experience in Biotechnology

On 13 January, thirty-three students from Class XI and three students from Class XII, accompanied by their teachers, visited Bennett University, Greater Noida. The educational excursion provided valuable exposure to the field of Biotechnology. Students attended an introductory lecture by Dr. Latha Narayanan on the significance of biotechnology in the future and career opportunities in research. This was followed by hands-on sessions in the Cell Culture and Molecular Biology laboratories, where students learned about protein and DNA isolation, fluorescence microscopy, cancer research, and gene editing.

Visit to World Book Fair – Children’s Pavilion

Avid readers from the school visited the World Book Fair Children’s Pavilion at Bharat Mandapam on 13 and 16 January. They participated enthusiastically in interactive sessions such as Into the Storyland, Let’s Act – Theatre Workshop, Meet the Mascots, and Stories from My Island. Students also explored the fair and browsed a wide variety of books, making the visit both enjoyable and enriching. On 17 January, a group of teachers visited the fair and purchased books to further enhance the school library collection.

A Literary Adventure at Bookaroo

On 09 January, students attended the Bookaroo Day School Programme at Sunder Nursery, where they interacted with acclaimed authors and illustrators from across India. Avid readers participated in engaging sessions with Mr. Hutuka Sumi, who spoke about his new book Giants and his journey as a writer from Nagaland, and Ms. Mamta Nainy, who shared her path into writing and her interest in Bhatiyali music. Students enthusiastically asked questions, sang songs, explored the book fair, and enjoyed a truly enriching literary experience.

Visit to Rajwada Farms

On 23 December, the students of Class IX went on an educational excursion to Rajwada Farms, Faridabad, where they took part in adventure-based Rocksport activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and physical fitness. They enthusiastically participated in zip lining, rope climbing, balance walks, commando crawl and obstacle courses under the guidance of trained instructors who ensured safety and encouraged them to overcome fear. The experience promoted cooperation, leadership and self-belief while offering a refreshing break from routine classroom learning.

Visit to Pratapgarh Farms

On 16 December, students of Class X1 went to Pratapgarh Farms situated in Jhajjar Haryana. The trip was a perfect blend of fun, learning and cultural exploration. The students were engaged in variety of activities which included traditional and fun games and adventure sports. It was a fun filled day which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students

Educational Trip to Kiran Nadar Museum of Art

On 14th and 15th May 2025, students of Class VIII (Sections A–F) from Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri visited the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art for an enriching educational experience. They explored a remarkable retrospective of renowned Indian artist Gulammohammed Sheikh, featuring over 190 artworks across various mediums, including paintings, prints, digital collages, and installations.

The guided tour offered insights into the artist’s unique storytelling that blends history, literature, and culture. Students were especially captivated by the dramatic use of light in artworks inspired by Caravaggio.

The visit also included a fun and engaging printmaking workshop, where students created their own artworks. The trip beautifully combined learning with creativity, leaving students inspired and connected to the world of art.

A Visit to Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan

On 7th April, four students of class XII along with Mr. Argha Kamal Ganguly visited an exhibition to mark the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda at the Auditorium- 1, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi .

Apart from experiencing the exhibits, students also had a soul- stirring interaction on the brutal facts which occured from her excellency Ms. Jacqueline Mukangira (High Commissoner of Rwanda in India) & a survivor from that Genocide.

Exploring the Wonders of Science: A Visit to the National Science Centre

On 05 May 2025, an educational trip to the National Science Centre was organised for the students of Class VII to enrich their understanding of scientific concepts through experiential learning.

The visit offered an engaging, hands-on experience as students explored a variety of galleries, each highlighting the marvels of science and technology.

The trip was an enriching blend of education, fun, and inspiration, fostering a greater appreciation for science and its impact on our daily lives

From June 9-11, 2024, Class 12 students embarked on a memorable school trip to Chail, filled with a variety of exciting and educational activities.  Students began the trip with a picturesque walk to the historic Chail Palace, immersing themselves in the local history and architecture. An electrifying DJ night allowed students to unwind, dance, and celebrate together, fostering a sense of unity and joy. Trekking through the breathtaking Chail mountains provided an opportunity for students to connect with nature and experience the thrill of adventure.

Icebreaking Activities and Games were designed to foster teamwork and camaraderie and helped students bond and work together effectively. Students also enjoyed horse riding up the scenic hills, exploring local shops, and sampling delicious local delicacies, offering a taste of the vibrant culture.

Evening and early morning sessions featuring moon and planet observations through a telescope sparked curiosity and wonder about the universe among the students

The trip was a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and fun, providing our students with unforgettable experiences and opportunities to bond.

Students of Cambridge School Srinivaspuri from classes XI & XI visited the National Gallery of Modern Art, Jaipur House.

This academic visit was planned to provide an exposure to understand and appreciate Art History.

The key artworks included Miniature Paintings, European Traveller Artists, works of Artists from Shantiniketan etc.

Apart from discussing the topics and experiencing the original works, they were engaged in sketching on the spot.

A glimpse into the educational trip to the *Shankar’s International Dolls Museum, ITO* where students of Primary classes III to V explored a range of artistic treasures in the variety of dolls.

The Dolls Museum is one of the most renowned museums in New Delhi which has a huge collections of dolls from across the globe. The children enjoyed the trip and at the end of the day , they shared their experiences through a reflection sheet

Students of classes X, XI and XII of Cambridge School,Srinivaspuri, visited the Pearl Academy of Fashion on Friday, 10th May 2024. TECH NOMADS, as the event was named, took our students on a journey through the vast landscape of technology, showcasing innovations through design. They explored various exhibitions and workshops conducted by students of Fashion Communication, Interior Architectural Design, Fashion styling and Product Design at Pearl Academy. In addition to interacting with the participants, CSS students were also treated to the fashion show called “Digital Avatars”, by the Fashion Society of Pearl Academy For CSS students, it was a day of mesmerizing displays, avant-garde fashion show, and an insightful journey into the dynamic realm of fashion
