Activites and Clubs

At Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri, we believe that education is most meaningful when it prepares students not just academically, but also socially, emotionally, and creatively. Our co-curricular activities are thoughtfully designed to complement classroom learning by nurturing essential life skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
From the early years, students are encouraged to explore a wide range of interests. In the primary classes, they engage in activities like theatre, IT club, general knowledge, clay modelling, public speaking, and chess, which help build confidence and spark curiosity.
As students advance to Classes 6 to 8, the scope broadens to include athletics, taekwondo, cricket, French, German, Indian and western dance, theatre, embroidery, rockets and satellites, badminton, and more. Life skills such as non-fire cooking, and personality development are also introduced. Personality development, in particular, plays a vital role in helping students refine their soft skills, including communication, self-confidence, etiquette, and teamwork.
In Classes 9 and 10, students engage in deeper skill-building through activities such as yoga, food forensics, music (Indian and western), photography, debate, quiz, theatre, art, volleyball, and several special interest clubs including heritage, garden, interact, and sustainability. Taekwondo is also offered to Class 9 students.
Senior secondary students (Classes 11 and 12) are offered specialized programs aligned with their growing aspirations. These include instrumental music (guitar and keyboard), jazz and fitness dance, theatre, digital design, art and craft, football, volleyball, and IT. Some of these offerings, such as digital design, food forensics, and IT, are part of the CBSE Skill Education curriculum, giving students the opportunity to gain nationally recognized vocational exposure alongside academic learning.
The school also hosts a vibrant array of clubs, including: Environment, Astronomy, Heritage, Chess, Photography, Interact, Sustainability, Film Appreciation, IT, and paid clubs like Robotics and Aeromodelling.
Students are further encouraged to join school societies such as the Debate Society, Quiz Society, Cultural Society, and Dance Society, which offer platforms for leadership, collaboration, and expression.
Together, these programs support our commitment to holistic development—helping every student at Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri discover their potential and grow into confident, capable individuals prepared for the future.
