School Timings: 7.50 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. The School gates will close at 7.55 a.m. sharp.

1. The second, fourth and fifth Saturdays, as well as other public holidays as per the School’s holiday list, will be observed as closed days for the School’s Administration Office.

2. Parents / Students should bring forms for attestation only between 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm. (Monday to Friday).

3. No student is allowed to leave the premises without prior written permission from the Counsellor/ Principal.

4. In case of medical emergencies, the Medical Officer / Class Teacher / Principal may call the parents and ask them to take their ward home.

5. It is mandatory to carry the parent ID card when visiting the school for any reason.

Parents Meetings and School Visits

1. Parents must ensure that their wards bring the diary daily to school.

2. Parents need to attend PTMs to know about their ward’s progress.

3. Besides the PTM, in case the parents wish to meet any teacher, a prior appointment needs to be sought. A note in the diary needs to be sent for the same.

4. Parents entering the school must carry the School identity card issued to them. As the security guards are instructed to check the same, please cooperate with them in the interest of the security of children.

5. Parents are not allowed to park their vehicles inside the school campus. Private vehicles may be parked outside the School near Gate No. 2.

6. Parents who regularly pick and drop their ward to school will do so from Gate No.2.

7. Parents must ensure that their wards are present in school on the days of medical check-up.

8. Parents are not allowed to take their wards home for a short duration or before the scheduled end of the day.

9. In the interest of children’s safety, the parents are requested not to allow their ward to drive any private vehicle to school.

10. Each child must sign the Student’s Code of Conduct issued by DOE, at the beginning of the academic session, and strictly follow it in letter and spirit.

11. Parents can keep track of their ward’s academic performance and progress which is displayed on the parent portal – V3M. Home task / revision exercises are uploaded on the portal regularly. The parent portal facility is available on the Mobile App also.

12. Kindly contact the School Front Office for any other query. Parents are requested to adhere to the mentioned timings.

13. All important messages are intimated to parents through the SMS Service including the daily attendance of students.

14. The school offers a host of sports facilities and organizes Inter Section activities for the all-round development of a child. Parents need to encourage their wards to participate in them.

The School Fee

1. Only the parents/legal guardians of a student are authorized to submit an application for withdrawal of the student from the School. Such application requires signatures of both the parents.

2.If an application for withdrawal is received after the tenth of a particular month, the fees for the following month will also be payable as notice fee. Notice fee includes all fees applicable to a child.

3. The application procedure for withdrawal from the school consists of completing the withdrawal form and the feedback form which are available in the school office, clearing all fees due and returning library books issued.

4. In case of withdrawal of a child from the school or from the school bus (except in the last quarter) or from any optional activity, during the course of the session, one month’s notice is required in writing.

5. No bus withdrawal will be allowed in the fourth quarter.

6. Transfer Certificates are issued within eight working days, only after the procedure mentioned above has been completed.

Withdrawal From School

Discipline

1. Students must reach school latest by 7.50 a.m. and go straight to class. Regular latecomers will not be allowed to go to the classrooms. The School Counsellor may call the parents to take their wards back home.

2. Students are expected to carry books and notebooks in strict accordance with the time table and refrain from bringing unnecessary material to school.

3. Students are expected to maintain order and discipline at all times during school hours and should not touch other students’ belongings. The school adopts a ‘No Touch’ policy in the interest of students’ security.

4. Students are not allowed to leave the class without the Class Pass.

5. All uniform items, books and stationery should have the name and class of the child. The school is not responsible for loss of the same.

6. Students are not allowed to commute to school on self-driven two/four-wheelers. Any violation of this rule will result in strict disciplinary action and expulsion from school.

7. Burning crackers on any occasion or splashing colours during Holi in the school premises or in the school bus is strictly forbidden.

8. As per the CBSE guidelines, any form of bullying, use of foul language, etc. are punishable offences, whether in or out of school. Bullying can be direct (e.g. through physical intimidation or attack, verbal abuse, damaging property), or indirect (e.g. spreading malicious rumours). Cyber bullying (sending unpleasant SMS messages, photographs, WhatsApp messages, emails, or use of social media) against a fellow student or any member of the staff is strictly prohibited. Students found indulging in the same will be expelled.

9. Students are prohibited from bringing any publication, reference books, CDs, or other storage devices not relevant to academic pursuits. Violation may result in levying a heavy fine or rustication.

10. It is expected from all students that they will maintain cordial relations with each other as well as the teaching / non-teaching / housekeeping / transport/ security staff of the school.

11. Students are not expected to get into arguments or misbehave with their peers/staff.

12. The School is a tobacco free and no smoking zone. Any student caught smoking or in possession of cigarette, hookah, drugs etc. in the school premises will be immediately rusticated.

Private / Self – Transpost

1. The School does not allow its students to drive a two / four wheeler vehicle to and from school even if a student possesses a driving license. No such vehicle can be parked inside / outside school premises. If such a vehicle is found parked outside the school premises, the school will take strict action against it.

2. Parents must ensure that drivers of private vehicle operators who ferry their children to school, possess the required character and antecedent verification report from the police authorities and the parents must have driver’s copy of license, Aadhar Card and Police Verification Certificate. The school can ask for these documents anytime if needed. If the documents are not submitted, then that private van will not be allowed.

Damage to School Property

1. Damaging or disfiguring any school property may result in suspension/expulsion from school in addition to levy of heavy fine.

2. Any student who refuses to adhere to the school norms despite getting repeated warnings will be sent home, rusticated or expelled. No attendance will be given for the period.

Children's Property

1. Bringing money to school is not allowed and is against the school policy. Borrowing or lending of money as well as exchanging articles is prohibited. The school is not responsible for any loss incurred.

2. Bringing smart watches, mobile phones, cameras, expensive pens, fancy pencil-box, etc. to school is strictly forbidden. Such items will be confiscated.

School Uniform

1. The school uniform, including ID card, is compulsory during school hours. Students must wear their uniform with pride and ensure that they look neat, tidy and presentable at all times.

2. Children must be in school uniform even for special classes and PTMs.

3. Students are required to attend all school functions/activities, in or outside the school only in school uniform.

4. Ornaments of any kind are strictly not allowed including bracelets, nose pins, rings on fingers, elaborate earrings / ear studs of precious metal / jewels and henna on the hands even for religious reasons. The only exception for girls is a pair of small ear studs. Violation of this rule will result in confiscation and / or suspension.

5. Students are forbidden from bringing any expensive cosmetics, perfumes, etc. to school.

6. Colouring or bleaching of hair is not permitted and long hair must be plaited.

Summer Uniform For Primary – XII

Blue half sleeves shirt with crest, Bluish grey trousers, Belt with school crest, Light Blue ribbed socks with navy blue stripes, Black gola/leather shoes, Light blue patka for Sikh boys, Hair accessories for girls (blue/black ribbon, hair band, hair pin)

Winter Uniform For Primary – XII

Blue full sleeves shirt with crest, worsted grey trousers, Grey sweater with cables and two light blue stripes on the V-neck (full sleeves and without sleeves), School tie, Navy blue blazer with school crest Belt with school crest, Steel grey woollen socks with blue stripes, Steel grey mufflers/steel grey cap (optional), Black gola/leather shoes, Light blue patka for Sikh boys, Hair accessories for girls (blue/black ribbon, hair band, hair pin)

Identity Card

1. Students must wear their identity cards during school hours and while travelling to and from school.

2. For new admissions, the ID-card form is filled up along with the admission formalities.

3. In case an identity card is lost, or parents wish to change the information on the card (for instance if there is a change of address), a spare form is available in the diary. This can be filled up and submitted to Accounts Office for a duplicate card.

4. Besides the student’s ID card, parents will also be issued ID cards which will be required for entry into the school.

Birthday and Gifts

Students are not allowed to bring birthday cakes and gifts for friends or teachers for any kind of celebration. The school does not permit any student to go directly from the school to attend birthday celebrations of any classmate or friend nor will the school share the telephone number or address of any student for sending invitations.

Medical Advisory

Any student who returns to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s fitness certificate permitting her/him to attend school. Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school. However, the exact period of quarantine will depend upon the severity of the infection which should be confirmed by a certified medical practitioner.

  • Chicken Pox – Till the scabs fall completely i.e. at least 15 days
  • Cholera- Till the child has completely recovered i.e. at least 15 days
  • Measles – Two weeks after the rash disappears i.e. at least 15 days
  • Mumps- Until the swelling has gone i.e. about one month
  • Whooping Cough -Till the doctor certifies i.e. not less than 20 days
  • Hepatitis- Till the doctor certifies i.e. not less than 20 days
  • Swine Flu -Till the doctor certifies i.e. at least 15 day
  • Covid-19 – Till the doctor certifies
