Curriculum

The Cambridge Schools are affiliated with CBSE and follow the CBSE curriculum in senior classes. In primary and middle schools, it is our effort to make learning as interesting as possible while achieving age-appropriate levels of learning as set down by the CBSE as well as our team of curriculum experts.

In addition, we aim for our children to develop the skills of excellent communication, perseverance, and concentration – as important in academics as in life.

Sports, music, visual arts, dance and drama are an integral part of the Cambridge Schools’ curriculum.   In addition, all students are exposed to a variety of optional activities to develop their unique talents and interests as they mature to be well-rounded individuals.

Pedagogy

Our pedagogy aims to make children develop a deep interest in what they learn; they learn because the topics awaken their curiosity and not merely to do well in an exam.  We encourage children to discuss and debate in the classroom and to ask questions.  Excursions, experiments, audio-visuals and teaching aids support a more meaningful understanding.

Rote learning is discouraged and the application of skills and techniques is treated as important.
