International day of people with disability

Former Minister of Education, Arts, and Culture, Minister of Education and Science of Mauritius and former Director and Representative of UNESCO; Mr. Armoogum Parsuramen, G. O. S. K. visited the school on 29th November 2018. At present, he is the Founder-President of University of 3rd Age and the Global Rainbow Foundation (GRF).
While interacting with students of classes IX and XI, he spoke about the importance of serving humanity and empathising with the pain of the underprivileged and the differently abled. He also elaborated on the efforts made by his organisation to alleviate poverty, provide relief to the vulnerable groups and advancement of education. GRF India aims to connect with educational institutions in India to provide assistive devices to PWDs and sensitise students about the same. He invited CSS to collaborate with schools in Mauritius to establish cross cultural alliance in the pursuit of a more equitable world. French students of classes VIII-X performed the popular French song called ‘Mini World’ by Indila on the occasion.
